We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Laborer / Carpenter to join our construction team. In this role, you will be an essential contributor to a variety of building projects, utilizing your expertise in carpentry, fabrication, and construction techniques. Your hands-on skills will help bring architectural visions to life, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry and construction tasks
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and roofing with precision and attention to detail
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Install fixtures, doors ,windows, floors, cabinetry and other specialized structures to meet the needs of clients.
- Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, plumbing, electrical wiring, and drywall or plastering tasks as needed
- Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols on construction sites
- Read schematics for metal stud framing, fixture installation, or electrical systems to ensure accurate implementation
- Estimating material needs and project costs to assist in planning and budgeting.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on carpentry or skilled labor roles
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for various trades including electrical, plumbing, masonry, and roofing
- Hands-on experience with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required
- Knowledge of the restoration industry or experience in remodeling projects enhances candidacy
- Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
