Overall Responsibilities
In a dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will play a critical role in supporting the Marketing Department with a wide range of marketing tasks to ensure seamless execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and national trade show events. With an emphasis on event planning, you will be responsible for managing multiple logistics, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining clear communication with internal teams to deliver successful marketing initiatives. Attention to detail is key, as you will oversee budgets, track campaign performance, and ensure all marketing efforts align with the company’s goals. This role demands excellent organizational and communication skills, with a focus on maintaining high standards in a time-sensitive setting. No previous experience in the aviation industry is required.
Specific Responsibilities
- Support marketing strategy development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Assist in developing, writing, and proofing content (both digital and traditional).
- Support day-to-day management of marketing strategies, plans, and creative campaign execution through administrative tasks to meet deadlines.
- Plan and coordinate logistics for all trade shows, forums, round tables, etc. and promotional activities accordingly:
- Organize and manage national tradeshows in conjunction with Marketing Communications, Product Strategy, Field Marketing and other cross-functional teams.
- Lead tradeshow-related logistics including pre-planning, show services, marketing materials, accommodations, transportation, on-site services, shipping, technical services and budget management.
- Secure premium booth position/signage at shows, negotiate terms with outside vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
- Lead event logistics related to internal planning meetings for tradeshows.
- Source equipment and other related collateral and materials for shows and events and organizing shipping.
- Set, communicate and maintain timelines and priorities on every project.
- Communicate effectively and consistently, maintain and develop internal and external relationships for services for shows.
- Manage individual event budgets, submit purchase order requests, invoices, and maintain budget tracker in timely manner.
- Display passion for our customers/vendors for whom we serve to build customer-centric, value-driven solutions/services in our displays.
- Collaborate with CEO’s Office, Operations, Sales, and Product Development to identify products and messages to promote. Be curious and ask questions.
- Assist the Marketing Manager track the department’s performance to determine the effectiveness and value of their marketing initiatives.
- Monitor competitors’ marketing activities and share findings in weekly meetings with the team to drive fresh ideas. (Social media, websites, blogs, trade shows, etc.)
- Coordinate with graphic designer on production of all marketing materials, both traditional and digital for website.
- Coordinate with the content developer and e-commerce coordinator on the production of all written content for the company.
- Manage external vendors in producing PJi-branded premium products.
- Build and execute email campaigns (about PJi products and services) driving sales leads to sales with the intent of increasing sales conversions.
- Manage monthly content calendar and creation of content.
- Gain approval on expenses associated with marketing campaigns, promotions and trade shows.
- Ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
- Travel between PJi facilities in Greenville, NC and New Bern, NC.
- Assist with other tasks as requested.
Required Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
- In lieu of a degree, 5 or more years of relevant experience.
- Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management, organizational skills and attention to detail – ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Exceptional project management skills.
- Strong work ethic, self starter, and initiative to get the job done while meeting standards.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt and work in the midst of a growing, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading marketing campaigns with strong digital skills.
- Prior e-commerce experience.
- Deep expertise and understanding of SEO / PPC factors and how to win.
- Understanding of overall brand strategy.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
