As Plant Accountant, you'll be the go-to person for billing accuracy and customer account health across our concrete operations:
- Set up new customer accounts and manage credit applications
- Review daily concrete tickets and turn them into accurate invoices
- Handle weekly external ticket review, including tax determination and invoicing
- Keep an eye on customer credit limits and balances, flagging issues to leadership
- Prepare customer statements
- Investigate and resolve billing disputes with professionalism
- Take on additional projects alongside the Plant Accounting Manager
- A 4-year degree in business or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 2 years of administrative or accounting experience
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate across teams
- Sharp research and communication skills
- Sound judgment - this role calls for someone who can interpret and apply company policy independently, not just follow a checklist
