Responsibilities
- Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients as directed by kitchen staff.
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
- Follow food handling safety standards and hygiene protocols to uphold health regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely clearing of tables and proper bussing of dining areas.
- Help with general cleaning duties throughout the kitchen and dining areas to maintain a sanitary environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations such as bussing, food handling, or basic food preparation is advantageous.
- Experience working in banquet settings or catering events can be a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy items or moving supplies.
