Pizzeria Maria is a family‑owned, quality‑driven pizzeria in Sparta, MI. We’re serious about our dough, bake, and consistency, and we’re actively expanding the brand into new locations. We run a tight, professional shop that still feels like family, and we’re looking for crew members who take pride in doing things the right way and want to grow with us.

The Role – Crew Member

As a Crew Member at Pizzeria Maria, you’ll be in the middle of the action: making pizzas, helping guests, and keeping the store clean and organized. You’ll learn our way of doing things—from dough and toppings to service and standards—and you’ll be part of the team that makes everything run.

Depending on the shift, you may:

• Make and top pizzas to our specs
• Cut, box, and finish orders
• Work the register, phones, and online orders
• Greet guests and handle pickup orders
• Help with prep, dishes, and general cleaning

What You’ll Do

• Follow recipes, portion standards, and station set‑ups
• Keep your station clean, stocked, and ready for the rush
• Move with urgency while staying accurate and respectful
• Work as a team to hit ticket times and keep guests happy
• Treat dough, toppings, and equipment with care (like they’re your own)
• Help with opening or closing tasks and checklists as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required—we’ll train the right person
• Shows up on time, ready to work, and follows through
• Can handle busy rushes without melting down
• Listens well, takes coaching, and wants to improve
• Treats guests and coworkers with respect
• Able to work evenings and weekends (we schedule fairly and in advance)
