Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive first impression
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and communicate effectively with kitchen staff
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while enhancing guest satisfaction
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and providing personalized service
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to maintain cleanliness and efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for reservations and order management
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with guests
