Love craft beer? Have a basic knowledge of beer styles, local breweries or brewing? Want to learn more? We need someone with a passion for beer and other ferments (cider, wine, kombucha, etc), someone who is eager to learn, and someone with an easy smile who delights in providing old-fashioned hospitality. No previous server experience required. This is a great opportunity to break into the service industry. Time is split between hybrid counter/table service and beertending. Job Requirements:

*Valid Class 12 license or ability to obtain one. *Open availability including evenings and weekends. *Strong knowledge of craft beer and a desire to continuously expand that knowledge base. *Excellent customer service and communication skills. *Ability to multitask and move quickly and efficiently between tasks. *Extensive knowledge of local breweries and their offerings. *Basic knowledge of draft line systems including pouring techniques and putting kegs on/off tap. *Basic knowledge of beer flavor profiles and food pairings. *Basic knowledge of the brewing process and ingredients. *Basic knowledge of wine varieties and food pairings.

Job Duties:

*Greets customers *Operates tap system *Verifies legal drinking age of patrons by checking valid ID *Actively helps customers find a drink they will enjoy by engaging them in discussions about their taste preferences and providing samples as needed. *Answers phone and enter take-out orders into POS system *Checks food for accuracy and quality before delivering to customer tables *Answers customer questions/concerns *Enters orders into POS system and accurately processes guest payments, including cash handling. *Maintains order entry accuracy in POS system and prior to guest receiving meal *Clear and wipe down guest tables, countertops, and maintain cleanliness of work area *Performs side duties as needed, such as folding and stamping pizza boxes and filling condiment containers *Washes dishes as needed *Supports kitchen as needed

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Mondays. Compensation is $19.50 - $21.00/hour.
