Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth operations
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately at the end of each shift
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize guest flow
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square or Toast POS is advantageous
- Demonstrated skills in guest relations, customer service, and food handling
- Experience in upselling, sales techniques, and managing multiple tables efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for cash handling
- Prior host/hostess or serving experience is a plus, along with kitchen or food industry background
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
