Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly and addressing their needs promptly.
- Assist in the sales process by effectively communicating menu items and specials to customers.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Buss tables and help maintain a clean and organized dining environment.
- Sanitate surfaces and adhere to food safety protocols to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
- Operate the Aloha POS system accurately for processing orders and payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Perform basic math calculations for handling cash transactions and providing change we're hiring for the weekend
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices is desirable.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting while also being proactive in assisting guests.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills, including operating the POS system.
