Job Summary
Pizza Tascio - Waldo is seeking a dependable, friendly, and team-oriented Pizza Restaurant Member to support daily restaurant operations and provide efficient service to guests. The ideal candidate will assist with customer orders, pizza preparation, food service, cleaning, restocking, and general restaurant duties while maintaining high standards of food quality, accuracy, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Take dine-in, takeout, and pickup orders accurately.
- Assist customers with menu questions, pizza selections, toppings, and available options.
- Prepare pizza ingredients and assist with pizza assembly and production.
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Monitor cooking times and food quality during service.
- Verify completed orders for accuracy and proper packaging.
- Communicate special requests and order details to kitchen team members.
- Process customer payments and operate the POS system accurately.
- Package pizzas and other menu items for takeaway and pickup orders.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen, counter, and dining areas.
- Restock ingredients, pizza boxes, utensils, napkins, condiments, beverages, and other supplies.
- Assist with cleaning workstations, equipment, preparation surfaces, and dining areas.
- Respond to customer questions and routine service concerns professionally.
- Follow food handling, sanitation, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, cleaning, and general restaurant duties.
- Support coworkers during busy service periods and help maintain efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Previous pizza restaurant, restaurant, food service, or customer service experience preferred.
