Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook with evening and weekend availability to join our kitchen team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and related dishes. Your expertise in food preparation, adherence to food safety standards, and ability to operate kitchen equipment will ensure every pizza served meets our exceptional standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Follow established recipes and menu guidelines meticulously to maintain product integrity.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, slicers, and other tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with food prep tasks including dough stretching, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures throughout all stages of food handling and preparation.
- Support the kitchen team in meal preparation for catering events or high-volume service periods.
- Ensure cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting.
- Experience with food safety management practices.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent food handling skills with an understanding of sanitation standards and food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Previous experience in restaurant or catering environments is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have flexible availability, and a willingness to cross train in various restaurant roles.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
