Duties
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients following established recipes and standards
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
- Assemble pizzas with attention to quality, presentation, and consistency
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work surfaces and equipment in accordance with food safety procedures
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring ingredient levels and notifying management of supply needs
- Follow food safety management protocols including proper food handling, sanitizing procedures, and temperature controls
- Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food production and service tasks as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, especially in pizza or similar high-volume environments
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitizing procedures within a commercial kitchen setting
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adhere to menu specifications
- Experience with grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking techniques preferred
- Excellent food handling skills coupled with a keen eye for detail in meal presentation
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience demonstrating the ability to work efficiently under pressure
