Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas and sandwiches according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, slicers, fryers, and food prep stations safely and efficiently
- Manage food handling procedures to ensure safety and sanitation standards are consistently met
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, process payments, and handle cash register operations
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food service customer order management, including timely preparation and delivery of orders to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or fast food environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards within the food industry
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Basic math skills for retail math, cash transactions, and inventory management
- Experience in retail sales transactions or grocery store environments is a plus
