Responsibilities

• Prepare pizza ingredients such as dough, sauces, cheeses, and toppings with precision and care
• Assist in assembling side menu items such as cheesybread, sandwiches and salads according to established recipes and quality standards
• Taking phone call orders and printing online orders. As well as helping ring up carry out customers for pick up orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area to ensure food safety and efficiency
• Support the kitchen team with food handling, portioning, and basic cooking tasks as needed
• Follow food safety protocols and proper sanitation procedures at all times
• Help with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of supply needs
• Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and supporting colleagues

Requirements

• Previous experience in dietary departments, food service, or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required—enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
• Basic knife skills and familiarity with meal preparation techniques
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and a proactive attitude
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
