Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver to join our Pizza Knight team! In this role, you will be the friendly face delivering delicious meals directly to our customers’ doors, ensuring a positive experience from start to finish. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent customer service will help us build lasting relationships with our community. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy driving- and providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
We are currently looking for an evening driver, 2-3 nights per week. Open availability (being flexible to work morning shifts as needed) is encouraged. Delivery Driver wages start at $10/an hour. Opportunity to make tips each shift. Mileage reimbursement for personal vehicle use is provided.
Duties
- Safely and efficiently transport food orders on time
- Interact courteously with customers, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any questions or concerns professionally
- Verify orders for accuracy before delivery and ensure proper handling of food items during transit
- Maintain cleanliness and routine maintenance of delivery vehicles to ensure optimal performance
- Document delivery details accurately, delivery confirmations, and incident reports when necessary
- Performing Back of House duties (not limited to) dishes, restocking, etc. while not on a delivery
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age to apply.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, customer/ food service or in a similar role
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Flexibility to work varied shifts a plus
- Must be open to new ideas and positive change to promote growth of the business
