Mission Team Analytics Lead (Sr. Data Scientist)

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Manager of Analytics to join our dynamic Pizza Hut US team. The Associate Manager of Analytics will be responsible for building data driven insights to support Pizza Hut’s internal consulting ‘Mission Team’.  This role plays a critical part in shaping our business strategy on key initiatives while allowing for unique access to senior leadership and ensuring we deliver the best pizza experience to our customers.  This role works in a highly collaborative, agile setting with cross-functional teammates making up the ‘Mission Team’.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to key stakeholders.
• Perform exploratory and investigative analysis to identify and quantify opportunities across various aspects of our business.

Test and Learn:

• Design and implement testing of performance improvement initiatives in our restaurants.
• Read test results and provide recommendations for further optimization of system roll-out.
• Be creative and innovative in the way we approach building test driven insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and objectives.
• Effectively influence, champion and drive for results through data driven insights and storytelling. 
• Provide analytics support to various departments and assist in solving complex business challenges.

Data Management:

• Ensure data quality and accuracy by collaborating with the Data Management team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies related to analytics and data management.

FACTORS OF SUCCESS NECESSARY

Required:

• 6 years of experience in data analytics
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Strong data visualization skills using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills to convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
• Experience with A/B testing
• Outstanding stakeholder management and partnership capabilities.
• Visionary thinking, with the ability to always see the bigger picture.
• Proficiency in building decks and translating intricate details into understandable takeaways.
• Technically astute, with a strong grounding in SQL and the conversion of insights to practical applications. 

Preferred:

• Experience in data analytics specifically in QSR or related industry
• Experience in business analytics, statistics, data science

Salary Range: $­­121,000 to $151,000 annually bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
