Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented part time Pizza Cook to join our team at Pizza Hollywood. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing delicious pizzas and other menu items to our high standards. Duties:
- Prepare pizzas and other menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Manage and maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Handle food safely and maintain proper food handling techniques.
- Work effectively in a team environment, communicating with colleagues and taking direction from senior staff.
- Perform tasks such as cleaning and sanitizing equipment, and restocking supplies as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Be able to multitask, take customer orders over the phone, know how to work with the POS system.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment, preferably as a pizza cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation, handling, and presentation techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of energy and focus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality menu items.
