Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and quality standards, ensuring quick turnaround times.
- Operate POS systems such as speedline POS and PAR POS to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage food service customer orders from taking to delivery, including upselling menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by regularly sanitizing surfaces, bussing tables, and adhering to sanitation protocols.
- Handle cash register operations and process retail sales transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and processing cash transactions.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, supporting food preparation and cooking tasks while following food safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations.
Desired Experience but not required
- Prior experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable; familiarity with food industry standards is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with POS systems such as Speedline or PAR is preferred; basic math skills are essential for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques is important.
- Previous roles involving serving customers, cashiering, or retail sales transactions will support success in this position.
- Culinary or kitchen experience can be advantageous for supporting food preparation duties; café or restaurant experience is valued.
