The International logistics coordinator is tasked to oversee the efficient movement of goods worldwide, while ensuring export trade compliance vis-a-vis destination country requirements. Furthermore, you will manage the relationship and monitor the performance of all 3rd party logistics (3PL) partners and transport service providers as well as take part in activities related to inventory control.
This role requires versatility, attention to detail and the ability to oversee a multitude of projects simultaneously.
Your role on our team
- Preparing all shipping documentation (CI-PL, CoO, TIB, Carnet, CERS, etc)
- Providing Lead Times (fulfilment) and Quotes to internal teams for Project bidding
- Working directly with local Customs Brokers to facilitate Duty Drawback
- Classifying new and existing products using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS)
- Providing all internal deadlines to Sales, Production Operations on upcoming Projects
- Supporting and assisting the Logistics Coordinator in dealing with all issues related to delays in transport, payment of duties and documentation
- Executing the transport of shipments to and from projects in an organised and efficient fashion, respecting all budgets
- Executing transport of stock transfers between partner warehouses
- Approving all transport related invoices
- Tracking all rental gear to and from events
- Updating the CRM with all track and trace information for live data
- Assisting the Inventory Coordinator in maintaining stock level
You are the person for this role if you fit the following criteria
- Undergraduate degree in Logistics or similar field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 3-5 years or relevant experience in Logistics and Customs Compliance
- Bilingual: French and English, strong command of English Language (written and spoken)
- Effective communication skills both internally and externally
- Experienced negotiation with suppliers and vendors
- Willingness to work outside regular business hours if required
- Experience with ERP and/or CRM software (Salesforce, Rootstock, Coda, etc)
- Knowledge of standards and policies in import / export management (customs, documentation, etc.)
- Good knowledge of both Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc) Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Forms, etc)
