What are the responsibilities and job description for the IBM Maximo Solution Architect position at PIXIE?
We are seeking an experienced IBM Maximo Solution Architect to design, implement, and support enterprise Maximo solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IBM Maximo 7.6.x, solution architecture, integrations, security, and performance optimization within large-scale production environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution design, implementation, and support for IBM Maximo environments.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Architect and support Maximo infrastructure, integrations, customizations, and security models.
- Optimize system performance, scalability, availability, and reliability.
- Provide troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production support.
- Communicate technical solutions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10 years of hands-on IBM Maximo 7.x experience.
- Strong expertise with Maximo architecture, configuration, customization, and administration.
- Experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF/MEA) and integrations with SAP, Oracle, ESRI, SCADA, HR systems, etc.
- Expertise in MBOs, Automation Scripts, Workflows, Application Designer, and Database Configuration.
- Experience with WebSphere/WebLogic, Oracle/DB2, clustering, load balancing, and performance tuning.
- Strong understanding of Maximo security groups, data restrictions, and conditional UI.
- Proven experience in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and release management.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BIRT, Cognos Analytics, or other reporting tools.
- Exposure to multiple Maximo releases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Fluent in English.
