Project Manager

FLSA Status: Full Time/Exempt

Reports To: Director of Operations

Position Summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing dvLED integration projects

from close of opportunity through final delivery, client acceptance, and hand over to technical support.

This role ensures that all projects meet quality standards, are delivered on time and within budget, and align with the company’s operational and client satisfaction goals.

The Project Manager serves as the central point of communication between clients, the sales team, operations, and technical services — ensuring smooth handoffs and proactive management of project schedules, resources, and deliverables.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Manage all aspects of project delivery from sales handoff to project closeout.
  • Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables in collaboration with the Operations Manager, Sales Engineering, and Technical Services Department.
  • Develop project schedules, track milestones, and maintain accurate documentation in project management software.
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and ensure all equipment is ordered, received, and staged in alignment with project timelines.
  • Oversee on-site activities as needed, including pre-installation reviews and site readiness.
  • Manage project budgets, expenses, and billing milestones in coordination with accounting.

Client Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, maintaining clear and professional

communication throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct regular client updates, confirm approvals, and manage expectations.
  • Support installation teams and field technicians by ensuring all technical and logistical details are documented and communicated clearly.

Resource & Team Coordination

  • Schedule and manage installers, subcontractors, and internal technicians.
  • Collaborate with the Logistics and Operations teams to ensure readiness of all materials and resources prior to install.
  • Coordinate shipping, tracking, and receiving of equipment domestically and internationally.
  • Provide guidance to Project Coordinators supporting assigned projects.
  • Develop, and implement, programs and processes to assist with the efficiency of the
  • sales/installation process as well as programs geared toward internal workflow
  • efficiency

Quality Control & Other Responsibilities

  • Verify that all LED systems pass quality checks prior to shipment and installation.
  • Monitor installation and punch list progress, escalating issues promptly to the Operations

Manager.

  • Participate in post-project reviews to identify process improvements and lessons learned.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental or company objectives.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required.

Education and Experience

  • 3–5 years of project coordination or management experience in AV integration, construction, or

related technical field.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • Understanding of technical documentation, construction drawings, and signal/power diagrams.
  • Experience managing dvLED video system projects preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across

departments.

  • Proficiency with project management and operational software (e.g., Wrike, Flex, or similar tools).
  • Professional, resourceful, and proactive approach to problem-solving and task ownership.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as necessary.
  • PMP or CTS certification is a plus.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages

Language Skills:

Ability to understand, read, write and speak English. Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to successfully write reports, business correspondence, and policy. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors, and the general public.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and correct errors.

Ability to understand and interpret basic financial data. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables.

Other Qualifications:

Exhibit an understanding of the AV Integration market. Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner. High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information, is expected. Must be able to exercise good judgment and positively influence others, including handling confrontations with poise. Advanced computer skills (including, but not limited to CAD, spreadsheets, word documents, Internet, and email) required. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Must be able to travel.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The repetitive motion of the upper body is required for extended use of the computer.

Required specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment for the Project Manager is primarily that of an office setting. However, a warehouse setting may be required at times. The Project Manager will also be required to complete site visits as necessary; some may be to active construction sites.
