GENDA Americas has an immediate part-time opening for the position of Game Technician.
Skills and Experience:
- Support the Amusement Manager in the daily operations of game rooms.
- Maintain the appearance and playability of equipment through proper execution of technical criteria and machine repair as needed.
- Maintain the condition and appearance of location.
- Accountable for providing legendary customer service and assisting customers as needed
- Assign and perform daily cleaning assignments
- Regular, reliable attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Weekend work required
- Ability to perform preventive and aesthetic maintenance on game room equipment.
- Strong mechanical repair aptitude strongly preferred. Capability to troubleshoot common equipment problems and properly identify components to include fuses, capacitors, transistors
- Previous retail or service-oriented experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, with occasional lifting up to 10 lbs
- Successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and or/move up to 50 lbs. or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
