THE OPPORTUNITY

Millions of fans already film, search, and obsess over our products on TikTok — unboxings of our drops go viral without us lifting a finger (“how to buy a Grow a Garden plushie for the pet code” is literally a TikTok search category). What we don't have yet is a best-in-class operator capturing that demand.

That's the job. You'll build our TikTok Shop into a top toy/collectibles storefront — creator affiliates, LIVE drops, Shop Ads — and modernize epicdrops.com into the DTC experience our fans deserve. You'll own the P&L for both, report directly to the founders, and ship fast in a company small enough that nothing stands between you and the scoreboard. We pay top of market for receipts.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN — TIKTOK SHOP (LAUNCH → SCALE)

• Launch and run our US TikTok Shop end to end: catalog and listings, TikTok SEO, pricing, promotions, and day-to-day Seller Center operations

• Build a creator affiliate machine: recruit and manage hundreds of active affiliates; own commission architecture, sample seeding, and creative briefs tuned to collectors, kidult buyers, and parents

• Stand up a LIVE commerce program built around drops, reveals, and unboxings — hosts, run-of-show, urgency mechanics

• Run Shop Ads / GMV Max with a weekly creative pipeline; reconcile attribution across Ads Manager, Seller Center, and the Affiliate Center

• Protect account health (Shop Performance Score, cancellation and tracking metrics) and keep us compliant

— including the extra care that comes with kid-adjacent audiences

• Make fulfillment calls (Fulfilled by TikTok vs. self-ship) with our ops team; plan inventory around drop calendars and licensor timelines

WHAT YOU'LL OWN — SHOPIFY / DTC (EPICDROPS.COM)

• Lead a full upgrade of epicdrops.com: modern theme rebuild, CRO program, site speed, and a design worthy of the IP we carry

• Build the drops engine: drop calendar, countdowns, waitlists, back-in-stock and SMS drop alerts that monetize our sell-out culture instead of fighting it

• Stand up what's missing today: product reviews and UGC, a loyalty/collector program, smarter bundles, gift cards, international markets

• Own the data layer: TikTok pixel CAPI, Meta pixel, GA4, attribution — and clean catalog data feeding TikTok, Walmart, and Amazon channels

• Level up lifecycle marketing on Klaviyo (email) and Postscript (SMS)

• Coordinate DTC with our retail and marketplace channels — online exclusives, MAP harmony, launch timing

YOUR FIRST YEAR, MEASURED

• TikTok Shop live within 60 days; affiliate and LIVE programs running by day 90

• A few hundred active affiliates producing a steady flow of shoppable content

• epicdrops.com relaunched, with measurable conversion-rate and repeat-purchase lift

• A TikTok Shop P&L you can defend line by line — GMV, contribution margin, effective commission cost, MER

• Holiday season and new license launches (think Steal a Brainrot at mass retail) executed as cross-channel drop moments

WHAT YOU BRING (RECEIPTS REQUIRED)

• You've personally operated a US TikTok Shop to $2M GMV over a trailing 12 months (bigger is better) — as a brand operator or the lead operator at an agency

• You've built and run an affiliate program with 100 active creators, and can talk commission tiers, sample economics, and creator CRM in your sleep

• You've managed meaningful Shop Ads / GMV Max budgets ($25K /month) and can calculate MER and effective commission cost from memory

• You've run or produced LIVE shopping that converted

• 3 years deep in Shopify: themes, app stack, CRO, marketing flows — you can scope dev work and ship without hand-holding

• Operator DNA: hands-on, fast, comfortable owning a number in a founder-led company

• Bonus points: toys / collectibles / Roblox fandom; live-production chops; Walmart or Amazon marketplace experience

ideally this role would be based out of the Cleveland office, however remote candidates in New York, LA, Philadelphia or Bentonville, AR will be considered.
