We are looking for a dedicated Regulatory Affairs Specialist to provide technical leadership and direct the site's environmental, health, and safety (EHS) activities.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EHS management and relevant work experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include providing safety training for new hires and existing employees, advising the site management team on safety and compliance, and collaborating with management to develop and maintain a site-based Emergency Action Plan.
- Experience in conducting safety meetings, audits, and inspections is required
- Ability to analyze incident reports, metrics, and injury case studies
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, manage, and maintain comprehensive environmental safety & health programs
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the site complies with local, state, and federal regulations and reporting requirements. In addition, they will lead process improvement initiatives, conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance and evaluate performance.
