Financial Controller
What you'll own:
• Monthly close, financial reporting, and cash flow management across US and international entities
• Multi-entity consolidation (US parent, German subsidiary)
• Budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decisions
• Earnout and acquisition-related payment tracking and reporting
• Full accounts receivable cycle — invoicing, collections, and customer payment follow-up
• Accounts payable, payroll coordination (US and Germany), and vendor management
• Tax coordination with external advisors (domestic and international)
• ERP selection and implementation — we're transitioning from QuickBooks and you'll have a seat at the table in choosing and rolling out the new system
What we're looking for:
• 5 years in accounting/finance, ideally with Controller or Senior Accountant experience at a company between $10-20M
• Experience with multi-entity or international accounting (European subsidiary experience is a strong plus)
• ERP implementation experience — whether you led one or were deeply involved, we want someone who's been through it
• Comfortable being hands-on — you'll do the strategic reporting AND process the invoices AND chase the collections
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, or able to pick it up quickly (you'll use it until we migrate)
• Comfortable using AI tools in your workflow — we use them daily and expect you to as well
• Self-directed. We're a small team. Nobody is going to tell you what to do every day.
