Role Overview
We are seeking a personable and results-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis to start. This role is designed to grow! Our new coordinator will play a key role in co-managing 2-4 client accounts and supporting senior team members as we bring on more. Your schedule will be approximately 80% client deliverables and 20% marketing & outreach support. As the company grows, so will you – guaranteed. Key Responsibilities
For your first 3-6 months, you will work closely with an Account Manager and our other content professionals to help field deliverables and communications. As you prove and grow your skillset, you will begin taking fuller ownership of client accounts and KPIs, with personalized growth tracks and increases available.
- Client Communications: Act as the first point of contact for 2-4 clients, providing excellent communication and support under the guidance of an Account Manager and our substantial database of information.
- Social Media Management: Create, schedule, and manage social media content for clients and Pivot Content Marketing as directed across multiple platforms, according to an established Marketing Calendar.
- Assist Content Creation: Create graphics, videos, website copy, social media copy, and/or more with support and under the supervision of the Client Manager.
- Assist Strategic Content Planning: Assist in developing content strategies and marketing plans, researching industry trends, and crafting engaging posts, blogs, and/or promotional materials as needed.
- Collaborate with Content Team: Work with our team members and partners to complete deliverables. Coordinate with subcontractors as needed. Per our expansion and your growth plan, you will help with onboarding clients and team members, eventually taking over account management.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on social media engagement, campaign performance, and other KPIs for both client accounts and internal goals.
- Business Marketing & Growth: Support efforts to attract and onboard new clients by contributing to Pivot Content Marketing’s marketing initiatives, including outreach, networking, and content promotion.
Basic Requirements
- Comfortable with our everyday digital tools: Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Zoom, and Meta platforms
- Reliable transportation for occasional local client meetings or events (most work is remote)
- A reliable personal device and internet connection to work from (2FA is a must)
- Reachable during standard business hours (flexible daily schedule)
- Excellent communication skills with both clients and teammates
Advancement Qualifications
These skills are not required to apply but will help you transition into bigger roles with more hours.
- Eagerness to learn new skills and cross-train across marketing disciplines
- Strong time management when given clear frameworks and targets
- Collaborative communication and problem-solving
- Effective social media management and content marketing
- Basic marketing, branding, or design experience (2 years preferred, but not required)
- Ability to track and assess performance metrics (with support and training)
