Full-Time | Women’s Contemporary Wholesale
Pivet Showroom, one of Chicago’s leading contemporary women’s wholesale showrooms, is seeking a polished, energetic, and relationship-driven Account Executive to join our Midwest sales team. This is a dynamic, travel-focused role representing a curated portfolio of contemporary women’s brands across specialty boutiques throughout the Midwest.
We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced selling environment, and is comfortable traveling. Brand assignments will be tailored to the candidate’s strengths and experience.
About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will manage a multi-state specialty territory, selling seasonal and in-season collections during road appointments and Chicago showroom markets. You will present product, write orders, drive reorders, and grow territory volume while working closely with our Senior Account Manager for backend support.
This is a sales-focused role. Backend customer service, JOOR/NuOrder management, and operational tasks are handled internally so you can focus on selling and account growth.
Territory
This position will oversee a defined Midwest territory, with seasonal travel required. Final state assignments will be based on experience. Travel expenses are fully covered.
Responsibilities
• Travel seasonally to assigned Midwest states
• Present collections and write orders across multiple brands
• Build and maintain strong relationships with specialty buyers
• Drive reorders and ATS selling throughout the season
• Identify new account opportunities in the territory
• Attend all Chicago Markets and seasonal showroom appointments
• Support showroom presentations and seasonal walk-throughs
• Participate in additional markets such as LA and Brand Assembly as needed
• Communicate consistently with buyers through recaps, best sellers, and follow-up
• Provide brands with territory feedback and sell-through insights
• Support seasonal selling strategies and account targeting
Ideal Candidate
• 1–4 years wholesale, showroom, or retail buying experience
• Strong selling and presentation skills
• Enjoys relationship-building and specialty store partnerships
• Comfortable traveling 3–5 days at a time during market cycles
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Positive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
• JOOR/NuOrder experience is a plus
