Job Title: Stage Equipment Installer
We are searching for a few confident, well rounded, construction workers that have the ability to problem solve, lead a crew of two, have a clean criminal history and drivers record, and travel Monday through Thursday and sometimes Friday.
Job Description: (ON THE JOB TRAINING PROVIDED)
Installation and manufacture of theatrical stage equipment.
Pittsburgh Stage has been manufacturing and installing theatrical equipment since 1942 and is the regional leader in our industry. We are looking for an assertive, self-starting, person with a great attitude. Your typical week would consist of meeting at our facility in Sewickley, PA. to load our box trucks and drive them to the job site. Most projects require a two or three man crew. A travel bonus is paid on overnight projects to cover the expenses incurred while traveling and varies dependent upon wages, location, etc... Most of our work takes place in K-12 and higher education facilities so a clean criminal record is a must. We are also a drug free workplace. Our region consists of PA, NY, OH, WV, VA, KY, DC, DE and MD. The installers typically have 3-day weekends!
Base compensation commensurate with general work experience. Prevailing wages vary based on location.
Job Specifications:
Must NOT have a criminal record. Background checks required.
Frequent travel required. (Weekdays only) Mostly 4-10's
Ability to repetitively lift objects exceeding 50 pounds.
Ability to build and work from scaffolding.
Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, stairs, etc. . .
Operate and work from various types of lifts. Training provided.
Ability to work in construction conditions.
Must have valid PA driver's license, a good driving history, and the ability to drive large vehicles. DOT Physicals Required.
Hand tools are required.
