Job Summary
As a Finance Intern with the Pittsburgh Pirates, you will gain valuable experience with our Finance Department. In this role you will gain knowledge in the Finance & Accounting Field while providing support through various projects and tasks.
Responsibilities
- Maintain detailed subsidiary ledgers for various department expense accounts.
- Assist with assorted MLB reporting requirements.
- Review documentation to ensure policy compliance.
- Assist with invoice and other data entry.
- Analyze financial variances from budget and prior year.
- Assist with bank reconciliations and transaction reviews.
- Compile necessary documentation as requested by department supervisors.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Authorized to work lawfully in the United States.
- Candidates majoring in Accounting, Finance, or related areas.
- Must be in a Degree-Seeking Program at Junior, Senior or Graduate level.
Desired:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
