PIA's Hagerstown campus is hiring for a fulfilling Aviation Maintenance Instructor position that allows you to give back while enjoying great daytime hours and no weekend commitments! Teaching experience is a plus, but not required, as we will provide instructional training. The Aviation Maintenance Instructor is a Salary Exempt position.
Schedule: Regular hours
Minimum Requirements:
Conduct classroom presentations; guide students in the laboratory for hands-on instruction and practice; manage laboratory equipment and inventory; and evaluate student performance. A full job description will be provided during the interview process.
Aviation Maintenance Instructor Benefits include but not limited to:
Schedule: Regular hours
- Monday-Thursday 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Friday 7:00am to 12:00pm
Minimum Requirements:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certification
- 3 years of verifiable aviation industry or military aviation experience
- We provide training for new faculty members, so teaching experience is ideal, but not required.
- Familiarization with computers for using teaching software and email.
- Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
