Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Teaching
- Schedule pianists and percussionists for School and Dance & Fitness classes.
- Assist with hiring and onboarding of new pianists.
- Train and support newly hired accompanists.
- Develop and teach classes and workshops in music theory and ballet accompaniment.
- Perform and arrange piano music for ballet classes and performances.
- Provide accompaniment for PBT Company as needed, including emergency coverage.
- Develop and maintain the School’s music library.
- Advanced piano proficiency with experience in ballet class accompaniment.
- Strong sight-reading and improvisation skills.
- Ability to adapt tempo, style, and musical structure in real time.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
Salary : $40,950
