Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals
- Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers
- Install new appliances accurately following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete repairs and installations efficiently
- Conduct maintenance inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
- Operate company vehicles such as box trucks safely for delivery and service calls
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, timelines, and maintenance tips to enhance their experience
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and ladder diagrams
- Proficient in equipment troubleshooting across a variety of appliance types
- Experience with refrigeration systems and electrical work is highly desirable
- Skilled in plumbing tasks related to appliance installation and repair
- Familiarity with electrical experience, including wiring and circuit analysis
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism
- Prior experience with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) practices in a field service environment
- Ability to operate a company vehicle safely while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Experience with delivery driver responsibilities using a box truck or similar vehicle is preferred
