This position will perform the functions of a skilled welder. They will work from structure plans to weld various parts.
Job Duties
- Measure, cut, and join appropriate metals to specifications
- Use grinder to smooth and clean as appropriate
- Inspect work and fill/repair as necessary
- Test the strength of each joint during and after project completion
- Identify hazards, defects and needs for adjustments to ensure compliance with applicable codes, laws, working practices, and health and safety
- Clean and maintain all equipment and tools and keep work areas neat

- Knowledge of MIG welding criteria per QA and passing our skills test
- Operate grinders and torches
- Excellent stamina, strength and dexterity
- Good time-management skills
- Sound understanding of safety rules, regulations, and safe job procedures
- Must be able to assist in other areas as needed and follow all quality procedures
