QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR
Job Summary
Quality Inspectors are responsible for monitoring and evaluating internal production processes, examining products to determine their quality and engaging with employees and management and gathering product feedback, among other duties.
Job Duties
- Monitor operations to ensure they meet quality and production standards
- Ensure product and manufacturing lines perform effectively
- Inspect, test, or measure all materials and products being produced
- Check all incoming products and materials to ensure accuracy
- Keep accurate documentation
- Assist shop foreman and supervisor in day to day production as needed

Qualifications
- Advanced Blueprint reading certification
- CAWI or CWI preferable
- Experience within the industry
- Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational, and leadership skills
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
- Basic computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office helpful
Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts consistent with a fabrication shop environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to changing weather conditions and working at moderate heights. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
