What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lube Technician position at Pittsburg Autolube Plus?
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, to add to our team, who will help drive the continued success of Pittsburg Autolube Plus by providing reliable and impeccable preventive maintenance service. You will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, evaluating their needs and performing maintenance to keep their vehicle serviced and safe on the road. Responsibilities include but aren't limited to:
- Perform automotive preventive maintenance such as changing oil, checking and refilling other vehicle fluids, replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required and inspecting and replacing lights and wipers
- Perform engine and transmission flushes
- Repair, replace, mount and balance tires and also tire rotations
- Communicate to the customers any additional service that may be needed. Provide an estimate of time needed & cost for additional repairs
- Assist in installing truck & ATV/UTV accessories
- Repair, replace, mount and balance tires and also tire rotations
- Perform front desk duties: cashier, balance drawer and deposit daily
- Follow appropriate safety procedures while maintaining a clean and safe workplace
Requirements:
- Communicate to the customers any additional service that may be needed. Provide an estimate of time needed & cost for additional repairs
- Computer skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Valid Texas drivers license
- Have an eagerness to learn
- Automotive maintenance and repair experience
- High school diploma or equivalant
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
