We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler/ Wobbler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childcare and a genuine love for working with young children. As a Toddler/Wobbler Teacher, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. Your role will involve planning engaging activities, fostering positive relationships with students, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment for children aged 1 to 3 years.
- Foster social skills through play-based learning and group activities.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior in the classroom.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance via the Procare app
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom setting.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles and practices.
- Experience in a classroom and creating engaging learning environments is important.
- Skills in first aid, caregiving, and behavior management are beneficial.
- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, through roles such as nannying or babysitting is advantageous.
- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all students, including those with special needs or disabilities.
