Position Overview:
Pitter Patter Carpentry is looking for a dependable, hardworking Shop Hand to support our cabinet shop team with day-to-day production, organization, and shop upkeep. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, takes pride in staying organized, and wants to grow in the custom cabinetry and carpentry industry.

Responsibilities:

• Assist cabinetmakers and lead shop staff with daily tasks
• Move, stage, and organize materials, parts, and completed cabinetry
• Sand, clean, prep, and assist with finishing prep as needed
• Help with loading and unloading deliveries and job materials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, tools, and work areas
• Break down packaging, remove trash, and keep workspaces safe and tidy
• Assist with basic assembly and shop support tasks
• Help track supplies and notify team when materials are running low
• Follow shop procedures and safety practices at all times

Qualifications:

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Reliable, punctual, and able to take direction well
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment
• Able to lift heavy materials and be on your feet for most of the day
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or construction is a plus, but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry materials regularly
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and move throughout the day
• Ability to work safely with tools, materials, dust, and shop equipment
