Shifts available: 24/7 operations
4pm to 12am and 12am to 8am
- $15.00 per hr. starting pay
- Shift Differential $2.00 per hr. for 4pm to 12am shift
- Shift Differential $3.00 per hr. for 12am to 8am shift

An Extrusion Technician is responsible for producing products for shipment. Their duties include placing raw materials or products into manufacturing machines to aid the production process, packaging finished products and organizing them for shipments and completing checks on equipment and products to ensure quality production.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Ability to do proper quality bag checks
- Ability to read production sheets for accuracy of the product being produced
- Ability to keep color meters and repro hoppers filled with proper material
- Stacks finished goods properly on pallets and completes pallet tag before sending to finished good staging area.
- Ability to operate scanners efficiently and accurately to perform put away of production
- Ability to read production schedule. Provides information on what will be produced next on the extruder line.
- Knowledge of operation of safety ropes, light curtains and doors on nips, bag machines and separators
- Assist in putting up a production extruder line
- Basics of threading bag machines and separators
- Weigh and record all scrap properly
- Maintains assigned work area and keeps it clean and orderly.
- Follows company safety guidelines, policies and procedures. Examples to include:
- glasses and hearing protection.
- Maintains good attendance to work
- Assists co-workers when needed
