Purpose
The Sales Analyst I position supports department initiatives to use data to streamline sales processes, identify key sales opportunities, and report on overall business trends.
Responsibilities:
- Create PowerBI reports and other creative data solutions using Sales and Marketing data
- Support data usage by assisting with data maintenance and cleansing
- Run periodic and ad hoc analyses to report on Sales and support initiatives
- Apply new & emerging technologies, such as AI, to streamline processes
- Identify improvements in workflow and processes that enhance data quality and end user experience
- Respond to inquiries about data from other teams
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
Other Duties
- Manage tasks using task management system
- Maintain high levels of data quality
- Participate in other projects as needed
- Strong understanding of SQL databases and language
- PowerBI and PowerApps development skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- Ability to communicate results from analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Marketing
- A minimum of 6 months’ previous experience in data solutions from work, internships, or group projects
- Command of English language to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
- Ability to solve problems and develop root-cause analysis of problems
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
Working Conditions
- Fast-paced working environment
- Primarily sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. May be occasionally required to exert up to 15 pounds of force and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects including the human body. Walking and standing are only required occasionally.
- The general office enviornment is generally favorable. Lighting and temeperature are adquate, and there are minimal hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Enviornment includes co-workers talking on the phone within close proximity.
- Subject to inside environmental conditions and protected for weather conditions and extreme temperature change.
- Visual Acuity including regular use of items including a computer screen or monitor.
- Manual dexterity is regularly required including fingering, grasping, and typing; manual dexterity includes repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Talking and hearing required to communication with and listen to others to share or receive information. May be occasionally exposed to noise including telephone, office machinery, and conversations of others.
