Pitt County Schools Instructional Coach Job Information
Purpose: The Instructional Coach, having both content and instructional expertise, will work as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning and teacher practice. The Instructional Coach will focus on individual and group professional learning to expand and refine teachers' understanding of research-based, effective instruction. To this end, the Instructional Coach will provide training, coaching, and support aligned with the goals and identified needs of teachers across all grade levels and content areas served.
Responsible to: Building Principal and Director of Curriculum and Instruction
Payment Rate: According to the Certified Teacher Salary Schedule
Employment Term: 10 Months
