Job Title: Back Office Assistant - Oral Surgery Assistant
Location - Arroyo Grande and/or Santa Maria
Full Time
Coastal Oral Surgery is looking for a full-time Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and detail oriented with a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Review the patient’s health history and/or medical records.
- Uphold a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment where our patients feel comfortable.
- Ensure appropriate clinical supplies and equipment are clean, set up, and well-maintained.
- Prepare patients for their procedure in a timely manner according to best clinical practices.
- Assist the doctor, thereby enabling the team to provide efficient, high-quality oral surgery treatment.
- Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, Dental Board policies and practices).
- Work with the front office and back-office teams to ensure the fast-paced surgery schedule runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Dental experience is a plus!
- Willingness to learn and grow with the practice
- Great team player and ability to work well with other
- High school diploma
