Duties
- Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of equipment, including HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and appliances to ensure optimal operation.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems and building infrastructure to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Troubleshoot HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Assist with installation projects related to mechanical equipment or construction upgrades.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference.
- Support team leadership by mentoring junior technicians and contributing to a collaborative maintenance environment.
- Complete PM Orders and answer calls for production mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance technician with a strong background in appliance repair, HVAC/R, refrigeration, or mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and general mechanical knowledge.
- Experience in construction or building maintenance is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly report issues and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
***1st shift, M-F, 6am-end
