About the Role:
The Marketing team at PitchBook is critical to fueling the company’s growth by utilizing a variety of strategies to support our Sales and Customer Success departments grow and retain our client base. The Marketing department is responsible for all demand generation efforts by executing engaging campaigns, effective product marketing strategies, and attending client and trade-show events. The Marketing team is also responsible for promoting the PitchBook brand and managing internal communications.
The Digital Marketing Internship role is responsible for assisting in maintaining and optimizing our website and digital lead generation efforts through web strategy work, technical SEO, web personalization and A/B testing. This role will work closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Editorial departments working on various web-based projects to help PitchBook hit its business goals.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in SEO research, tactics, and implementation
- Assist in overseeing the optimization of our website by implementing content/maintenance updates and page fixes, developing landing pages, conducting A/B and web personalization tests, and supporting new web enhancements
- Monitor reporting for our website, marketing/editorial content, and internal PitchBook products
- Assist the digital marketing team, in coordination with, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Campaign Managers, and key stakeholders from various departments to scope and define new lead generation projects
- Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
- Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested
Skills and Qualifications:
- Working towards college degree or continuing post high school education
- 3 months of experience involved in a web or digital marketing role/school project. Experience working on digital projects from conception through delivery a plus
- Passion to learn
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Detail oriented and deadline driven
- Basic understanding of digital marketing technologies and best practices. Experience with SEO, creating/publishing web content, and Google Analytics a plus
- Data-driven individual. Unafraid to dig into the data and make data-driven decisions
- Technically savvy. Experience with or interest in agile methodology, technical specification documentation, HTML/CSS/JavaScript – just to name a few
