About the Role
Pitchblend is seeking a motivated, curious, and culture-driven PR & Creative Comms Intern to support communications across our globally recognized clients. This is a hands-on role designed to give you real exposure to how modern PR operates. You’ll create tangible work while learning the systems behind how modern PR operates. This semester-based internship is designed to deliver meaningful, practical experience, with weekly training, ongoing mentorship, and strong potential for consideration for an entry-level role upon completion.
Program Details
- Timeline: June 2026 – August 2026
- Commitment: ~20 hours/week
- Location: NYC (hybrid: in-person remote)
Responsibilities
- Research, build, and maintain targeted media lists across lifestyle, sports, fashion, tech, and culture verticals
- Monitor emerging media, cultural trends, creator-led outlets, and relevant news cycles
- Support pitch development, press materials, and story framing
- Assist with media outreach prep, tracking, and coverage reporting
- Help execute product seeding (selects, packaging, tracking, follow-ups)
- Organize trackers, decks, and weekly status updates across accounts
- Contribute ideas in brainstorms and internal strategy sessions
- Publish weekly Media Alerts identifying new outlets, creators, and trends
- Complete a final New Media Landscape project presented to senior leadership
Qualifications:
- College junior or senior enrolled in a degree program that offers academic credit for internships - your school's internship office or academic department must formally approve this role for credit prior to your start date
- Deep interest in culture - sport, fashion, music, tech, and emerging media
- Pursuing a degree in communications, PR, journalism, marketing, media studies, or a related field
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams
- Comfortable in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Slack
- A proactive, positive attitude and eagerness to learn from a fast-paced agency environment

Compensation
Academic credit only. This internship does not provide monetary compensation. Candidates must confirm their ability to receive credit through their school prior to starting.
