Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies.
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling procedures efficiently across all designated areas.
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Assist with light custodial duties such as window washing, dusting, and surface disinfecting.
- Support general facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial or residential cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and assist with facilities upkeep.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish; fluency is preferred for effective interaction with team members and visitors.
