Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Social Media Manager role based in Westport, CT. The Social Media Manager will plan, create, and publish content across key social platforms to grow audience reach, engagement, and podcast listenership. Day-to-day work includes drafting and scheduling posts, optimizing captions and hashtags, developing content calendars for episode launches, and repurposing show highlights into short-form content. The role also involves monitoring platform analytics, tracking key performance metrics, responding to audience comments and messages, and suggesting data-driven improvements. The Social Media Manager will collaborate closely with the host to maintain a consistent brand voice, support promotional campaigns, and experiment with new formats to reach professional investors and finance enthusiasts.
Qualifications
- Strong social media expertise, including Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills.
- Ability to develop and execute effective Content Strategy tailored to podcast and finance audiences.
- Excellent Writing and Communication skills, with the ability to translate complex investing ideas into clear, engaging posts.
- Experience managing social media accounts for podcasts, media, or finance-related brands is preferred.
- Familiarity with major platforms (e.g., X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok) and social scheduling/analytics tools.
- Capacity to work independently on-site in Westport, CT, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Genuine interest in investing, capital markets, and learning from professional investors; prior finance exposure is a plus.
