Job Summary
As a Cashier, you are the face of our restaurant. This isn't just an order-taking role — we want someone who genuinely connects with guests, makes every visit feel personal, and goes out of their way to create a memorable experience. You'll greet guests, guide them through the menu, suggest items they'll love, and make sure they leave happy.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet every guest warmly and make them feel welcome from the moment they walk in
- Take orders accurately and confidently guide guests through the menu
- Upsell thoughtfully — recommend add-ons, combos, and specials that fit the guest's order
- Check in on customers during their visit to make sure they're enjoying their meal
- Ask satisfied guests for reviews and help build our reputation in the community
- Process transactions including cash, credit, and rewards program sign-ups
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and allergens
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen and front-of-house team to keep orders on track
- Conduct table touches and handle phone orders/inquiries professionally
- Perform side work such as restocking, cleaning the soda station, and closing the dining room
- Assist with food delivery to tables and other duties as directed by management
What We're Looking For
- Prior cashier or restaurant experience preferred, but not required if you have a strong customer service mindset
- Outgoing, people-first personality — someone who loves talking to guests
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable upselling and recommending menu items naturally
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to multitask and stay organized during rushes
- Genuine passion for hospitality and going above and beyond for customers
- Bilingual a plus, but not required
Pay: Up to $20.00 per hour
