Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and replace tires on a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars and light trucks
- Perform wheel alignments to ensure proper vehicle handling and tire longevity
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes and fluid replacements to support optimal vehicle performance
- Diagnose automotive issues using specialized tools and provide recommendations for repairs or service needs
- Assist with minor mechanical repairs including brake work, suspension adjustments, and other mechanical repairs using hand tools and power tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Communicate effectively with customers about service needs, repair options, and maintenance schedules
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive service experience with a focus on tire service and vehicle maintenance
- Strong mechanical knowledge of standard passenger cars and automotive diagnostics
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and automotive fluid replacement equipment
- Ability to perform alignment procedures and minor mechanical repairs efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual labor involved in tire installation and vehicle servicing
- Knowledge of automotive repair standards, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices
