Responsibilities

- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions swiftly and securely.
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods with precision and integrity.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, offering knowledgeable recommendations and product demos when appropriate.
- Engage in upselling by suggesting additional items or promotions to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain clean and organized checkout areas, ensuring merchandise is well-presented through merchandising and stocking efforts.
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and managing product displays.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information to customers remotely.
- Promote a friendly shopping environment by communicating clearly and actively listening to customer needs.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure store standards are met or exceeded.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred; supervisory experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is essential.
- Strong communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
