Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This full-time role is essential to upholding our high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. You'll perform routine and preventative maintenance across our resort grounds, facilities, and utility systems, ensuring everything operates smoothly in our coastal environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance on resort facilities, including plumbing, electrical, sewer/water hookups, and HVAC systems.
- Maintain grounds and landscaping: mowing, trimming, irrigation repairs, and cleanup of sites and common areas.
- Inspect and repair recreational amenities such as the heated pool, miniature golf course, playground, and bicycle fleet.
- Assist with building maintenance, carpentry projects, and minor construction as needed.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, vehicles, and utility infrastructure.
- Ensure cleanliness and upkeep of public areas, including restrooms, laundromat, and pathways.
- Respond to guest and staff maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to safety protocols, maintain tools/equipment, and keep accurate logs of work performed.
- Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies (weekends and evenings as needed).
Qualifications
- Ability to operate hand/power tools, mowers, and light equipment safely.
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, work outdoors in varying weather, and perform tasks requiring bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a positive, guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
